Why Having a Blog For Your Coaching Business is Important
It’s Third Degree Thursday!
My #1 suggestion for using PLR in your coaching practice is as blog content, but many coaches have asked, “If I have a Web site, why do I need a blog?”
Blogging has become the way to drive new traffic to any business, whether the business is on the Internet or in a brick and mortar building. This is because people connect personally to you through your blog, even if it is a business blog.
A blog is a must for every coaching practice, whether it’s business coaching, executive coaching, life coaching, wellness coaching, etc., and whether you already have a Web site or not. If you are serious about your coaching business, you need a blog. Through writing blog posts your readers, prospective customers and clients get to know a little bit about you as a person and a coach. And as long as you’re posting quality, trustworthy content your readers will come to trust you. And when they trust you, they will begin purchasing your products and services.
Your blog should reveal a little about the person behind the business, but it should never be too personal. Having an “About” page on your blog or Web site is a good place to display a little about your personal life, but not too much. Keep it professional, but let your audience know who you are as a business person. The “About” page is also a great place to display your qualifications, merits and credentials for your business.
Once your blog is up and running, you will then use it to connect with people who are searching for a coach on the Internet. You achieve this connection with your prospective clients through posts that tell stories, provide coaching tips, promote your services, and show how coaching can help them. A blog is one of the most important marketing tools your coaching business should have.
If you don’t have a coaching blog yet, and don’t even know where to begin, hire a virtual assistant to start one for you. A VA could even maintain and manage it for you if you feel you don’t have the time. And don’t forget that you can get most, if not all, of the content for your blog by using provate label rights content. A couple of quality providers are Easy PLR and PLR.me.
By doing whatever it takes to get a coaching blog started now, you will soon see an increase in visitors to your Web site and more visitors means more clients.
